EXPANDED SUMMER HOURS BEGAN JULY 7th! We open at 10am weekdays and at 1pm on weekends. We close at 8pm Monday through Thursday and at 6pm Friday through Sunday.   COMMUNITY MOVIE AND DISCUSSION The Unforseen directed by Laura Dunn Friday, July 25 @7pm Join us for a screening of this documentary set in Austin.  When development threatens Barton Springs the community fights back. In the conflict that ensues, we see in miniature a struggle that today plays out in communities across the country. It is an intricate tale of personal hopes, victories and failures; and of debates over land, water and the public good. After the film stick around for a group discussion.     This week in Wacky Science (Now on Fridays) :  July 18:  Kool-Aid Tie-Dye July 25:  Breathing Balloons   This week in Arts and Crafts:  July 23 @ 6pm Mosaic tile or frame Registration required  Create a mosaic on a tile for your garden or frame just for decorating. All materials are supplied except ideas. Make geometric designs, flowers, fish, or simple animals like cats or birds. Limit 20   UPCOMING COMMITTEE MEETINGS The library steering committees would appreciate any community input.  Please contact the Board of Trustees if you'd be interested in joining a committee. Technology Committee will meet on July 21 @ 11am Personnel Committee will meet on July 28 @ 4:30pm Facilities Committee will meet on July 30 @ 3pm     We're collecting memories...
