Library News for September 26, 2013

Time is almost up for you to complete the annual survey.   We are collecting responses through September 30th.   Please take a few minutes to answer 15 questions about the library and your needs.  This helps us plan for 2014.

DonutsDonuts with Dads:  Saturday, September 28 at 10am

Bring your dad (or uncle, or grandpa) to the library for donuts, juice, coffee, and lots of great books to read together.  This is first come, first serve, and refreshments are limited.

Tuesday, October 1st is National Night Out.  Stop by the gazebo at Katherine Fleischer Park for story times with Miss Kristin at 6pm and 7pm. 

The Library will be closed on Sunday, October 6th.

Coming Soon- Try It!

Mondays from 3:30pm-4:30pm

Weekly after-school program for kids ages 5-12. Kids will get to try a new activity each week! This month includes drawing, yoga, magic, and kickboxing. 

  • October 7th : Learn to Draw with author/illustrator Scott E. Sutton
  • October 14th : Kids Yoga with Ashley (bring a yoga mat or towel if you have one)
  • October 21st : Learn magic tricks from Magician JD Stewart of The Magic Academy
  • October 28th : Kickboxing for Kids with Fighting Fit

  • 7pm WWW Book Club The House at Riverton by Kate Morton
